Two Silver Does

These are two necklaces I made for myself depicting a silver doe. I made them shortly after finishing Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The one with the beaded necklace I made first... it has a navy blue background and clear, silver, frosted and blue beads and is finished with gloss varnish. I've only worn it once because it is just to fancy for my everyday wear. The second one I made because I couldn't fit the first one into my wardrobe. I wore it for a good month after making it. The second one has a black background and a satin varnish.

Both were carved onto small pieces of wood, painted then hung on stretchy jewlery cord.
